Florence B. (Sunday) Deaven, 88, of Hummelstown, died Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Thursday, August 16, 1923 in Warriors Mark, PA, daughter of the late William and Mary Ruth (Baney) Sunday.

Florence was a member of Spring Creek Church of the Brethren in Hershey and was a former employee at the Hershey Medical Center & Hershey Abattoir.

She is survived by; a son, Robert (Mary) of Hummelstown; five daughters, Nancy White (James) of Middletown, Doris (Gary) Lowe of Harrisburg, Mary Coleman of Hershey, Dianne (Steve) Paioletti of Hummelstown, Joyce (Randy) Motter of Hershey; two brothers, Bill and George Sunday; 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death in 1997 by her husband, Ralph F Deaven.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 11:00 AM in the Spring Creek Church of the Brethren, 335 E. Areba Ave., Hershey, PA 17033. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. A private interment will be in the Spring Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to Florence's church in her memory.
