Dale I. Fegely, 71, of Denver passed away March 12th in the Ephrata Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Dale was born in Fleetwood, PA on May 5, 1940, to the late Irwin and Mary (Heller) Fegely. He is survived by his wife Joan Rakosky Fegely, daughter Karen Pang (Charles), Park City, Utah; Step-children Patricia Eyer, Waldwick, NJ; Cynthia Lovelace (Bruce) Richmond, VA; Carl Eyer (Sandra) Palmyra, PA; and Michael Eyer, Port Angeles, WA; seven step-grandchildren; 1 grandchild. He retired from the Department of Military Affairs, Annville , PA, where he was a Classification Specialist in the National Guard Technician Program. He was a member of the Pennsylvania National Air Guard for 34 years and retired with the rank of Command Sergeant Major. After retiring, he was employed at the Chapel Hill Golf Course as a groundskeeper. He was in various golf leagues at the Chapel Hill Golf Course, was a member of US Bowling Congress for over 25 years, and involved with model railroading,
Services and interment with honors will be held Friday, March 16th, at 1:30PM in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Ephrata Cancer Center, 460 N. Reading Road , Ephrata , PA 17522.
